It began as a totally overwhelming, monstrous nightmare.
But . . .
over a period of two years,
with virtually no construction skills and very limited financial resources,
and not a heck of a lot of self-confidence,
all by myself (except for the plumbing - I'm not that crazy! ),
I built a hand-made home for Bear Dog and me.
It's friendly.
It's humble.
It's light and alive. . .
and comfortable.
It's easy and inexpensive to heat and maintain.
